Hotel Nikko Guangzhou launched the Nagasaki Food Fair on August 27, officiated by the Consul General of Japan, Mr. Ishitsuka, with the presence of local media and KOLs. 

Following the popular Niigata Food Fair held in July, the Nagasaki Food Fair has taken over the baton of the Japanese food promotion series and continues to vigorously promote Japanese food culture and customs.  

The food fair features various Nagasaki specialty food, and diners are also able to savor the authentic Hakata Ramen by ramen specialist Ikkosha Ramen.  

You won’t want to miss the specialty booth displaying imported items from Japan such as snacks, packaged food, sake, Japanese ware, etc.

Cafe Verano

Located at the lobby of the hotel, Cafe Verano is a stylishly designed restaurant that offers guests a bountiful buffet spread of local and international specialties. From August 27 to September 30, the award winning restaurant is promoting the Nagasaki Food Fair, featuring various delicious eats from Nagasaki as well as Hakata Ramen by renown ramen specialist, Ikkosha Ramen. Priced at RMB229 for lunch and RMB399 for dinner, the buffet includes unlimited Kirin Beer, wine and soft drinks. Sashimi lovers should mark their calendar on Sept 19 as there will be a tuna cutting event featuring a 70-kilogram blue fin tuna imported from Nagasaki. The event schedule to take place during dinner time and diners are able to taste the freshest tuna sashimi or sushi at their choice.

Attendees of the event are also able to experience a sushi making session personally guided by Benkay Sushi Chef. The chefs patiently teach participants how to select ingredients, cut fish properly, prepare sushi rolls and serve up everything perfectly on a platter.

Benkay, the flagship restaurant of Hotel Nikko Guangzhou, is a premier Japanese restaurant serving authentic Japanese cuisine.
