Guangdong's super adorable baby panda attended her naming ceremony in a basket

The first baby panda to be born in Guangdong province was officially named Long Long after a two-month voting process on December 18.

The poll drew over 100,000 participants who suggested more than 10,000 prospective names for the cub. The final named was "chosen" by the panda's mother, Mei Qing, in a random draw.

Long Long attended the ceremony – a less star-studded but also far less creepy affair than that given Washington Zoo's Bao Bao on her naming day – in a basket, from which she gazed at the crowd with adorable adorableness.
