In concert with his Harvard schoolmate and noteworthy American conductor Michael Stern, Chinese American cellist Yo-Yo Ma will bring you a musical feast at Xinghai Concert Hall. A child prodigy, Ma started performing at the age of four before later graduating from Julliard School and Harvard University. He was a regular attendee of the Grammys, receiving a total of 17 awards. Accompanied by a makeshift orchestra consisting of some 80 young, Chinese and oversea Chinese musicians, Yo-Yo Ma and Michael Stern’s concert will be the highlight of the music exchange program Youth Music Culture Guangdong.
