September 26: Happy Hour at Suns

Head to Suns Bar Lounge on Sunday or Monday for a beer and get one free. Hosting international DJs every month, Guangzhou’s first electronic music club has a killer view of the Zhujiang River at night. Enjoy your drinks in their outdoor lounge or head inside for a dance.

September 26-27: Savoring Illusion Exhibition

Artists depict the real world through their personal experience of illusions. This exhibition titled Savoring Illusion invites four young artists from different backgrounds and with different interests to display their artistic expressions.

September 27 – 28: Fenmo Chunqiu

This dance drama tells a story of a theatrical troupe’s ups and downs in the Republic of China era, based on the experience of two opera apprentices. It is a story of friendship, love, society and life during that particular historical period. The dance drama combines traditional Chinese dances and operas, especially Shanxi opera.

September 29: Hooley’s Trivia Night

October 1: Silver Ring Crafting

If you’ve ever thought about fashioning your own ring, this workshop is the answer! Run by Yizhi Ornament Studio, a local company based in Redtory that handcrafts silver jewelry, the workshop offers classes for anyone interested in forging a ring from selected patterns or from one’s imagination.
