Summer in the PRD is notoriously hot, so hot that cooking an egg on a hot outdoor surface is entirely possible and was recently done in Shenzhen.
Luckily for us in Guangzhou, the international Slide the City event is rolling into town this summer to help us all cool off! For readers unfamiliar with the event, it features a gigantic 300-meter waterslide that has a thrilling four-story descent.
The event will run over three days, from August 19-21, and will feature a variety of additional entertainment – including DJs and games, as well as food trucks to feed the famished.
