Hoodoo Presents Whisper Live at Long Bar

In this age of self-automated DJ controllers, sync buttons and low quality mp3 performances, finding live electronic music – original compositions performed in real time – is rare indeed. In an effort to bring some real talent to Guangzhou’s electronic scene, the team at Hoodoo is enlisting the skills of Whisper to rein in some true electronic originality. 

A master of his medium, Whisper creates his sound using a collection of machines – including a Roland TB-303, mc202 Rhythm Analog Four and Octatrack 2 – and, if all that means nothing to you, then suffice to say it is a collection of some of the finest hardware available for the production of live electronic music. 

To see Whisper in action is as captivating as it is an enthralling musical experience – it’s a show electro-junkies won’t want to miss.
