In the formula of ‘intention/action,’ intention is the denominator, the motivation and source of power, while action is the numerator, the steps one take to realize their intentions. At the TEDxXiguan 2019 conference, more than 10 speakers will share their stories of acting on their best intentions. 

The line-up is a motley crew of professionals from different fields: choreographer, photographer, food designers, astrophysicist, architect, journalist, barista, writer, environmentalist and surgeon. 

This year’s conference will see performances by Guangzhou rock band Nouvelle as well as dances by Swing Canton. A ‘Xiguan booth’ will be set up to offer themed books and interactive experience to curious participants. Attendees will also be treated to a ‘community lunch’ during the 9-hour event. Simultaneous interpretation will be provided at the conference as in previous events.
