InterContinental Grand Stanford Hong Kong is pleased to announce the official re-opening of its Italian restaurant, The Mistral, now on the first floor of the hotel. Guests are invited to unearth this hidden gem that radiates purest flavours, combining Italian authenticity, sensory pleasure on the views of the Victoria Harbour-scape and blissful ambience.

Endorsed by the serene beauty of Victoria Harbour, The Mistral is a culinary haven that embodies authenticity in Italian elegance. Helmed by Chef Fabio Guaglione, hailing from the enchanting city of Napoli, this blessed sanctuary showcases a menu with regional specialties and locally- sourced ingredients. An opulent selection of Italian wines and an unparalleled collection of Grappa and Amaro elevate the gastronomic journey.

"Bringing the true essence of Italian cuisine to Hong Kong is our passion at The Mistral, complemented by the vistas of the glittering harbour," said Lars Ruecker, Director of Food & Beverage at InterContinental Grand Stanford Hong Kong, "By introducing Chef Fabio’s handmade pastas to the table, we bring the Italian heritage with the passed-down skill sets to live. "

With the incorporation of locally-sourced produce into its menu, The Mistral creates a unique culinary experience that celebrates the vibrant flavours of Italy while embracing the spirit of sustainability. Each dish is a labour of love, meticulously prepared to showcase the natural beauty and versatility of the ingredients.

To see and to be seen, guests of our signature product, the Harbour View Brunch, are invited to put on their Sunday best and transcend into a bubbly brunch-induced bliss featuring a host of Italian gourmet including Boston lobster, snow crab legs, sea whelk and green mussel; antipasti table with a span of Parma ham, mortadella, ox tongue, and artisan cheeses, to name a few. Nothing is better than savouring freshly handmade pasta and risotto and here guests can easily indulge in it at the Pasta Corner. Over at the mains, veal loin with girolle mushrooms, pan-roasted M4 Australian Wagyu tenderloin with foie gras mousse, or pan- baked haddock, are amongst six to select from. Accentuate the joyful Sunday by Sicilian cannoli, 1-metre mille-feuille, Executive Chef Jean-Marc Gaucher’s beloved black truffle burnt cheesecake, macaron and decadent Mövenpick ice-cream. Fly higher with unlimited lashings of Champagne for an utmost heavenly relaxing day.

Be it the enticing weekday semi-lunch buffet, the meticulously crafted seasonal a la carte menu, or the indulgent Sunday Harbour View Brunch, The Mistral offers the perfect setting for cherished memories and celebrations.
