The term "Cordis" comes from the Latin word for "heart." This reflects the brand's commitment to providing heartfelt service and authentic local experiences. During the ceremony, guests were introduced to the Cordis heart-shaped installation, which features geometric cut lines inspired by the traditional Cantonese architecture of Manchu windows. It also includes local elements such as Lingnan Tiandi's earthen buildings, bell tower, Zumiao Temple, Shunde fish lanterns, and Lingnan banyan trees. The installation is adorned with optimistic blue and vibrant orange colors that represent Cordis' forward-looking vision. It symbolizes the collaborative effort between Shui On Group and Langham Hospitality Group to create the "Heart of Cordis." This signifies the hotel's ambition to become the heart of Foshan, pulsating with sincere vitality amidst the perfect blend of traditional and modern commercial innovation in Lingnan Tiandi.
