Where can you load up your energy stores for all that dancing/shouting to be heard at the bar/taxi chasing you plan on doing later? The answer is undoubtedly somewhere below:

 

Temple Restaurant
The highest end of the NYE spectrum, enjoy this lavish eight-course special menu with butter-poached lobster and wagyu beef cheek. And of course, eat in the fantastic surroundings of the restaurant, near the ancient heart of the capital by Jingshan Park.

Mosto
Fancy being a bit stylish this year? Settle into Mosto's funky atmosphere for dinner with a NYE menu that includes four courses and a glass of Champagne for a modest price. The third floor of Nali Patio is where it's at.

Agua
Agua have crafted a special celebration menu that includes the three kings of lobster, beef and turkey (in case you haven't had enough after Thanksgiving and Christmas). Another Nali Patio start to the evening that will be sure to kick things off well.

Mercante
A smaller affair, with only 30 seats available this will be a NYE dinner that will remind you of an Italian family gathering. Five courses, Champagne and lots of bustle in this popular hutong restaurant.

This recent Golden Fork Restaurant award-winner is serving up a delicious Spanish five-course banquet with a welcome glass of cava.

Starting at 5pm, this party includes all-you-can-drink beer and Champagne at midnight for RMB250. Ideal for those who want to see in the New Year in the hutongs.
