The hallmark of global fine dining and quality cuisine, The MICHELIN Guide released its 2024 edition for Beijing. Il Ristorante – Niko Romito, the Italian restaurant at Bulgari Hotel Beijing, is awarded a one-star rating for the fifth consecutive year. Praised for its exquisite Italian dining and unparalleled culinary experience, the restaurant has once again showcased the hotel's exceptional Italian aesthetics.

Il Ristorante – Niko Romito of Bulgari Hotel Beijing is an Italian restaurant directed by Niko Romito, one of the legendary masters in Italian cuisine and a well-recognized MICHELIN-starred chef from Italy. Chef Romito has created a new concept, while preserving the fundamental philosophy of simplicity, synthesis and a quest for the quintessence of flavour. Working from his headquarters in Italy and regularly counselling Daniele Ferrari, Chef de Cuisine at Il Ristorante – Niko Romito in Beijing, they bring menus that optimally express the culture, elegance and vitality of “Made in Italy.”

Chef Romito has recently unveiled the autumn menu and 7-Course Degustazione Menu exclusively crafted for Chinese diners, interpreting the flavors of the season with an exceptional creation of classic Italian dishes.

For appetizer, a traditional delicacy  roasted langoustine with potato puree and black truffle. The langoustine is slow-cooked and grilled to perfection, resulting a tender and succulent meat. Its sweetness combines harmoniously with the creamy potato puree, while the deep aroma of black truffle adds another layer of complexity to the dish, allowing the taste buds to luxuriate in the rich autumn ambiance.

Blue lobster with sweet and sour pumpkin puree and sage is a dish where the lobster takes the spotlight, cleverly incorporating autumn flavors of pumpkin and sage. To retain its juicy texture, the lobster is cooked at low temperature with its flavor enhanced with the addition of the distinctive lobster reduction sauce. The fragrance and softness of pumpkin puree, combined with the fresh sage, presents a sweet and sour taste that beautifully complements the oceanic flavor of the lobster, creating a delightful harmony that lingers on the palate.

Bulgari Hotel Beijing's Il Ristorante - Niko Romito restaurant boasts 70 seats and offers a delightful garden view and an elegant atmosphere. Every element within the restaurant, from the Barovier & Toso custom-made Murano Salviati crystal chandeliers to the deep brown Roman columns and dining chairs that contrast with light-colored walls and floors, has been carefully designed to provide a pleasant dining experience. The restaurant's elegant and charming ambiance makes diners feel as if they are in Rome.
