The exhibition provides a viewing angle. As an important part of modern art in the world, modern ceramics is often misunderstood in China, or solidified or even obscured by the aesthetic norms of brilliant traditional ceramic art. All new art cannot exist apart from tradition, no matter what achievements all new art has, it cannot replace tradition, and the rapid change of new art precisely constitutes the vitality of traditional art and the history of human civilization today.

Where to Find a Trail

640-1-41.jpg

In ancient Chinese paintings, in addition to the magnificent landscapes with huge smoke, it is common to dot the scene and occasionally scatter the paintings. They either travel far away, or watch mountains and waterfalls, or graze under trees, or play games among the clouds, or take a break in making tea, as if the painter picks the dots at will, and has the finishing touch, so that the static picture seems to flow with the movement and gaze of the characters.
