Although it’s another World Cup competition which won’t feature China, that doesn’t mean there’s no World Cup fever across the Middle Kingdom, including right here in Beijing.
If you’re wondering where to watch the World Cup in the Chinese capital, we’ve got a handful of suggestions for you below.
Beersmith has got a whole load of great offers for those who want to head out and watch with friends, and for those who fancy watching at home.
Meanwhile, no Beijing World Cup guide would be complete without mentioning Paddy O’Shea’s Irish Pub. Just make sure you arrive early, especially for the big games.
As you probably don’t need to be reminded, COVID rules are still very much a thing in Beijing. Remember to scan the Beijing Health Kit (北京健康宝) on arrival.
Proof of a negative nucleic acid test is also a must. For many places, the test result must be from within 72 hours. However, other places have recently changed this to within 24 hours. If you are unsure, check in advance!
Otherwise, from all of us at That’s Beijing, we hope you enjoy the World Cup however, wherever and with whomever who please!
