With the weather warming up, it's time to hit the town. We’ve rounded up a list of the latest bar and restaurant reopenings in Beijing.


NUO Hotel Beijing

Located on the fifth floor of NUO Hotel Beijing, O’Bar is where Beijing's beautiful people unwind in style. Classic cocktails and modern mixology meets a world of fine wines and Champagnes, where live music and DJs get the party started. An all-weather venue, O'Bar is the place to lounge and unwind on one of the capital's largest outdoor sun terraces. 

O’Bar is now open daily from 5-11pm, with extended service until midnight on Fridays and Saturdays. Walk-ins allowed, though advance reservations are recommended. Parties are limited three guests sitting at tables at least one meter apart. When entering to the hotel,guests will need to register their basic personal information, undergo temperature check and provide their health code.

U’Deli

NUO Hotel Beijing’s gourmet boutique U’Deli provides on-the-go homemade desserts and pastries, tasty snacks, simple meals and coffee, freshly prepared daily. U’Deli makes a perfect stop for picking up homemade items prepared with eco-friendly ingredients sourced from trusted suppliers in the local market. Indulge in a thoughtfully curated selection of imported delicacies.

U’Deli is now open Monday to Friday from 8am to 5pm, no reservation required. Takeaways suggested, though tables can seat up to three diners. Guests will be required to provide a health code prior to entry.

The Peninsula Beijing

The Lobby is the heart of every Peninsula hotel, and the restyled lounge at The Peninsula Beijing presents an impressive setting to share the celebrated Peninsula Afternoon Tea with family or friends accompanied by live music.

Located on the first floor of the hotel, The Lobby is open Monday to Saturday from 6am to 11pm. Reservations required. Breakfast is sered 6am to 10am on weekdays and 6am to 10.30am on weekends. Afternoon tea is offered from 2 to 6pm. A la carte menu items are served from 11am to 11pm. The Lobby accepts both walk-in and reservation guests, but as per government advice, they refrain from dining in groups. Jing

Acclaimed by guests and gourmands alike, Jing at The Peninsula Beijing is one of Beijing’s hottest dining destinations. Honored with The Michelin Plate, Jing serves contemporary French gastronomy with subtle Asian influences by popular Chef de Cuisine Julien Cadiou paired with fine global wines and rare Krug Champagnes vintages in a stylish venue evoking a secret garden.

Jing is now open Tuesday to Saturday for lunch service (11.30am-2.30pm) and dinner (6.30-10pm). Walk-ins and reservations both accepted, but dining in groups is not permitted. Huang Ting

Huang Ting celebrates the sophisticated flavors of fine Cantonese cuisine in an atmospheric setting that recreates a Beijing nobleman’s courtyard home. Huang Ting is now open daily for lunch (11.30am-2.30pm) or dinner (5.30-9pm). Walk-ins and advance bookings both accepted, but group dining is not permitted. The Peninsula YUN

The Peninsula Beijing’s rooftop lounge serves up stunning city views combined with exquisitely refreshed furnishings. Sultry Mediterranean sharing plates perfectly match the menu of classic and modern cocktails mixed by expert bartenders, red and white wines and premium Champagnes. The 15th floor terrace is now open daily from 5pm to 1am. Walk-ins and advance bookings both accepted, but group dining is not permitted. Tables will be limited to two guests and spaced at least one meter apart. Guests will be required to undergo a temperature check and record their personal information at the hotel entrance. Sunrise Brewery is located on the first floor of Sunrise Kempinski Hotel Beijing, situated alongside the magnificent Yanqi Lake in Huairou district. Pair Sunrise’s authentic Bavarian cuisine with its freshly home-brewed German beer. Signature dishes include the Bavarian sausage platter, homemade crispy pork knuckle and roasted American prime beef bone rib-eye. The beautiful outdoor garden is unparalleled, offering guests the perfect spot to enjoy delicious food and refreshing beer while taking in magnificent views of the picturesque Yanqi Lake.

Sunrise Brewery is now open daily (Sunday to Thursday, noon-3pm and 5.30-9.30pm; Fridays and Saturdays, noon-10.30pm). Each table can accomodate two to three guests. Diners who are not staying at the hotel will be required to present their Beijing health QR code prior to entering the restaurant.

The lobby lounge at InterContinental Beijing Sanlitun is now open daily from 11am to 6pm. Guests can enjoy classic afternoon tea sets as well as seasonal Chinese tea experiences at the lobby lounge during opening hours, no reservation required. For an enhanced experience, the hotel has launched its “Miss InterCon” 24/7 reservation platform in both Chinese and English for booking dining, hotel stays and more. Tables are limited to two people, and guests are required to go through a health screening at the hotel entrance.

CHAR, Top Bar & Lobby Lounge Terrace

Starting from April, the terraces for CHAR, Top Bar and the lobby lounge have been open for al fresco dining. At the Top Bar terrace, you can enjoy favorites from the tapas menu, classic afternoon tea sets and Chinese cuisine from YING. The view from the CHAR terrace, which overlooks the vibrant Sanlitun district, will definitely enhance your steak dining or weekend brunch experience. Meanwhile, the section of the terrace adjacent to the lobby lounge on the ground floor is also open for afternoon tea.

C6 Café is an open kitchen concept where the culinary team at Crowne Plaza Beijing Chaoyang U-Town prepares ‘A-la-minute’ style dishes using the freshest ingredients from Asia and around the world. C6 Café brings a world of flavors buffet for an excellent culinary escape during the day. A luscious spread of appetizers, seasonal fruits and entrees offer an unrivaled selection and a perfect end to a sumptuous meal with a variety of desserts.

The a la carte menu is now available daily from 11.30am to 2pm and 5.30 to 8.30pm. Advance booking required. There will be a limit of three diners per table to ensure safe distancing. Guests will also need to undergo a temperature screening, registration and health declaration at the hotel entrance.

Ponte

Ponte is a fine-dining brand from the people behind Annie’s Italian Restaurant. Here you’ll enjoy upscale Italian classics in the heart of Beijing. Ponte is now open daily from 11am to 10pm, with breakfast service resuming April 25. Reservations are required, and in order to enter the establishment, guests will be required to wear a mask, provide a health code and register their personal information. Parties may be no larger than three people.

Cafe Zarah

Longtime Gulou favorite Cafe Zarah is now open daily from 11am to 10pm, serving its classic breakfast sets and coffee. Guests will be required to undergo a temperature check and register their personal information prior to being seated. A maximum of three guests will be allowed at each table. Starting from May 1, hours will be adjusted as follows: Sunday to Thursday, 10am-midnight; Friday to Saturday, 10-1am.

Eudora Station

Eudora Station serves up excellent Western fare, from wood-fired oven pizzas to grilled Australian beef steaks. Enjoy your food and beer indoors or during warmer times on their first floor outdoor garden. Starting from April 28, Eudora Station will be open daily from 11am to 11pm. Reservations not required. Tables can seat up to three guests, who will be required to provide a health code at the entrance.

Serving Mexican food to hungry Beijingers since 2009, Pebbles Courtyard offers plenty of specials and deals each day. From the zesty salsa verde to the rich enchiladas roja, pretty much everything here is on point. Pebbles Courtyard is open Tuesday to Sunday from 5 to 10pm. Seats are limited, so it’s best to reserve your spot in advance. Diners will be required to provide a health QR code and register their contact information at the entrance. Tables are limited to three, and guests must be seated at least a meter apart.
