Harry Styles is to fashion what Michael Rapaport is to comedy – above average.

With that being said, the boyband member-turned-actor has been turning heads lately with his combination of late ’60s slash early ’70s golf atire and quirky T-shirts, referencing Keith Haring and Debbie Gibson among others.

Beloved Instagram account, HSFashionArchive, who are doing the lord’s work by documenting Styles’ every fashion move, recently caught the star of Dunkirk wearing something totally random at an Ariana Grande concert in London on Saturday, August 17: a Space Fruity Records T-shirt.

If you don’t know, Space Fruity Records are an independent tape and vinyl label based out of Beijing, who have previously published excellent records by the likes of Dolphy Kick Bebop and The Molds in the past. (Side note: if you happen to be in Beijing this weekend, make sure to catch The Molds as they rock out at Frequent Collaborative on Friday, August 23.)

Owner of both Space Fruity and fRUITYSPACE, Zhai Ruixin, was caught off guard by the flurry of social media activity that accompanied Styles’ apparent patronage of the label. “That was so weird,” he told That’s, adding “Actually, I didn’t know this guy before. I don’t know why he has this T-shirt.”

That’s not to say that Zhai wasn’t delighted by the endorsement from Styles. fRUITYSPACE took to Weibo to express their shock at seeing pictures of Styles’ in their excellent garb, while @HarryStylesCN also posted about the curious coincidence on the microblogging site.
