Swedish post rockers E321 perform at Yue Space on Wednesday night. Their tracks all bear the distinctively dreamy feel of shoegaze, starting off softly and building with a more aggressive edge. With lots of sudden swings in pace and mood, the trio's set is sure to add a burst of energy to your week.

Jul 19: Dani Gurgel

Brazilian singer-songwriter Dani Gurgel graces audience ears with her contemporary style of jazz at Blue Note on Thursday night. Her tracks are often mellow and sunny, with a characteristically jittery jazz beat on strings and drums.

Jul 20: Carl Barât

Carl Barât, best known as being co-frontman of beloved garage rock band The Libertines, graces Beijing fans this month. The British musician has had a slew of side projects from indie group Dirty Pretty Things to his own album and had even formed a band via applicants on Facebook called Carl Barât and the Jackals in 2014. Jul 21: Chinese Football, SNOS, Last Goodbye, Nova Heart and Smoking Area 25

Psychedelic indie rock band Chui Wan bring their experimental, sonic sounds to Yugong Yishan this weekend. The four-piece band were thrust into the spotlight shortly after they released their wildly successful debut album White Night in 2012. Catch the masterful musicians this Saturday night.
