Yugong Yishan is a pillar of Beijing’s live music scene and they’re celebrating lucky number 13 with a huge birthday party this Friday (Sep 22). And they’re doing what they do best – providing a killer (and we mean killer) night of gigs.
Raggabund
Raggabund – made up of brothers Paco Mendoza and Don Caramel – are a German band known for mixing all sorts of energetic and latin-infused sounds together, from reggae to dub to dancehall to hip-hop.
Nova Heart
Beijing's own Nova Heart will also be performing. The post-rockers have become well-known around town for their radio ready hooks and sensual, and at times jarring, tunes. Shoegaze band Default will also take the stage in what is sure to be an epic night of music. There will also be some special guests performing at the big bash, though we haven't been let in on the secret (though it has now been confirmed that Tulegur will be performing too).
