Nov 12-13: BEME 5

The fifth annual Beijing Electronic Music Encounter (aka BEME) is happening at fRUITYSPACE this weekend. Three labels will be participating in the two-day music fest, which means there’s going to be an almost absurd amount of music going on. There will also be a pop-up market full of releases, meaning there will be tons of cassettes and vinyl for sale. Performers include Hong Qile, A Ming, Yan Yulong, Sheng Jie (GogoJ), Menghan, GOOOOOSE and so much more. For detailed information, click here

Sat and Sun Nov 12-13. 4pm-late (both days); RMB70 (each day). fRUITYSPACE

Nov 15: Sneaky & Son + Randy Abel + Moor Hick

If you’ve got a hankering for some blues and country, then we suggest you head over to DDC next Tuesday night. British blues band Sneaky & Son, roots artist Randy Abel and Beijing-based American band Moor Hick will all take the stage.

Tues Nov 15, RMB30 (presale) / RMB 40 (door). DDC, see event listing
