Sep 26: Rockstar Bartender Night @ School Live Bar

During the last Monday of every month, School Live Bar likes to change things up with their "Rockstar Bartender Night." A surprise guest – which is always a prominent member of the Beijing music scene – will be assuming their position behind the bar and playing tunes off of their personal playlist all night long. Just to give you an idea, previous guest bartenders have been Guan Zheng (of Joyside and Casino Demon), Bo Xuan (of Hedgehog and Nova Heart), Zhao Meng (of New Pants and Twinkle Star)… you get the idea.

Mon Sep 26, 9pm-mdnight; Free entry. School Bar, see event listing

Sep 28: Peyton Manning's Fan Forum

The China Arena Football League (CAFL) is gearing up to kick off their season in Beijing on October 1-2. But the really exciting part is that Super Bowl champ Peyton Manning will be making an appearance in Beijing ahead of the event. Following the path of former NFL brand ambassadors like Jo Montana, the two-time Super Bowl winning quarterback and five-time NFL MVP will be visiting both Shanghai and Beijing to represent the NFL, as well as meet fans at fan forums in both cities. For those interested in catching a glimpse of the 14-time All Star, he'll be in Beijing for a fan forum on Wednesday (8-9pm, Sep 28). For football fans interested in attending the event, register via NFL China's WeChat account (NFLChina). And if you can't make it and still want to hear what Mr. Manning has to report, the forums will be live streamed.
