Aug 12: Drag Bingo
We’ve all been waiting with bated breath, but Drag Bingo is back. Tiger Lily will be hosting, yet again, and promises to bring tons of fun, prizes and, of course, laughs. There will be happy hour prices all night. All proceeds will go to support Beijing Gender. There are only 35 seats so make sure to sign up stat.

Aug 13: Black Sheep Gets Connected
All of Beijing’s black sheep are going to come together on the dance floor this Saturday at the Black Sheep Gets Connected party. This get together is all about merging music and creative entertainment to create a journey through the four elements and five senses. Lantern will be divvied up into areas dedicated to the elements: earth, wind, fire and water. There will be a bunch of DJs on the scene – 777, Crystal Bones, Eno and more. Oh and the first 100 people get a free shot.

Aug 13: Baseline: Falling Down
The Baseline series is dedicated to bringing parties to Beijing that aren't the same old, same old Sanlitun-style shindigs. This time around artists from both Beijing and Shanghai will be featured. Rap group Young Clan will be blowing minds with their lyrics. Anto and Ghoulfren, two awesome DJs in the underground bass scene, will be there too. There will also be free shots of Jameson, so this party’s bound to be a good time.

Aug 13: Concrete Jungle featuring V-Nutz
Cad 73, resident DJ over at Migas, is bringing in a special guest all the way from Shanghai. The guest DJ is none other than V-Nutz. He’ll be kicking off a night full of funk, hip-hop, reggae, Afrobeat, disco, soul…well, you get the idea. The party starts at Migas at 10pm on Saturday August 13. We’re not sure about you, but we’re ready for it to be Saturday already.

Aug 13: dART: Teknest Warm-up Party at Café Zarah
If you haven’t heard the news already, Phoenix Burn was recently cancelled. The cancellation of festivals is something that we’re far too familiar with in China. But the dART team does have some good news for you – there will be an outdoor music festival happening in Beijing. If you’re curious about chatting with the dART team, head over to Zarah this Saturday for their warm-up party. There will be DJs and plenty of drinks going around.
