Luhan Sets Pointless World Record at Beijing Concert

It’s easy to set world records when they involve doing things so obscure that no-one has ever thought of doing them. And that is exactly what happened at Luhan’s concert on the weekend.

Pictured above is Guinness Records adjudicator Dong Cheng, who handed over a certificate at the Beijing leg of popstar's Reloaded tour. And while the irritatingly spritely man-child (Luhan, not Dong Cheng) won his last world record for attracting the most comments on a Weibo post, this time he did this:

That's right: this is the sight of 1,731 people with questionable music taste overcoming the limitations of the human condition by reaching under their seats and putting luminous antlers on their heads.

The incredible accomplishment – that has never been attempted and will probably never be attempted again – was the largest gathering of people wearing antlers. Because the 'Lu' in Luhan (鹿) means ‘deer’.

His feat joins a long list of pointless records that require questionable skill, such as a man who walked around with very heavy shoes and the 505 pregnant women who did yoga together.
