“Woodstock of Eating” is a curious name for a food event. When we heard it, we wondered: What does this mean? Will there be 32 musical acts performing for a crowd the size of a city? Will many of said crowd members be tripping on psychedelic drugs? Will this event be held in a 600-acre dairy farm in the Catskill Mountains of Upstate New York?
No. It is rather more conveniently being held in Sanlitun SOHO. And according to sources, last night’s Woodstock of Eating Night Bazaar was veritably poppin’.
Woodstock of Eating is festival celebrating independent artisans, chefs, bakers and makers. Some of our favorite food-and-drink joints will be attending: Palms L.A. Kitchen & Bar, Jing-A, Traitor Zhou’s, White Tiger Village, Andy’s Craft Sausages, Smokeyard and more. Entry to the fair (RMB50 at the door) includes a free ticket to the after party at Migas… so drink up.
True to its name, Woodstock’s also got a packed schedule of musical acts and performances to keep you groovin’ while you get your snack on.
Tonight’s the last night to catch Woodstock of Eating, this time around anyway – if you miss this one, look out for more events in the future.
