Piano Sonata No.1 in F sharp minor Op.11

Guangmei Chen is a London-based Chinese pianist known for her ‘authoritative and compelling’ performances. She has performed throughout the United Kingdom, and in Hong Kong and China. She recently graduated with a Bachelor of Music degree (Concert Recital Diploma) with First Class Honours and has been invited to complete her postgraduate studies at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama with Peter Bithell. Her many performances include winning the Guildhall Romantic Prize, the Worthing Recital Prize as well as receiving top prizes in the Hong Kong-Asia International Piano Competition. Guangmei has had the privilege of performing in significant concert halls such as St-Martin-in-the-Fields, Milton Court Concert Hall and more in Europe.
