算盘 (suànpán) are pleased to present another highly rated up-and-coming Glaswegian producer & DJ - Big Miz - to perform at Dada Beijing on Saturday, 7th July 2018.

Since the days of his early prominence on the clubbing scene running a highly respected club night in his home city of Glasgow, Chris Macfarlane has progressed and developed into a key producer within the house and techno field, combining his traditional skills in music with contemporary electronic equipment. Signing with record label Dixon Avenue Basement Jams have aided the young producer's formidable and standout force within an increasingly saturated market. Having recently released his debut LP on the label, with many of the tracks being instant classics (‘Hammond Groove’, ‘Our House’) and played by some of biggest names in underground music scene, Big Miz is being taken very seriously as a protagonist for the future of the house music sound, providing an inventively refreshing approach that embodies and captures the sound of quintessential Chicago house productions.

Having played numerous UK and European shows and festivals, and with a Boiler Room live debut at Sub Club already under his belt, Big Miz is a star in the making and we’re delighted to have him play his debut show in China. His DJ sets are high-energy sessions and full of club ready party music. 算盘 residents Tanner & Juhstynn are big fans, and have been playing his music in most of their sets over the past six months. They’ll be on hand to take care of proceedings at Dada Beijing on Saturday 7th July.
