The Tandoor Beijing one the most celebrated restaurants serving Indian cuisine in Beijing, is located at the lobby level of Zhao Long Hotel. The design of The Tandoor is inspired by the ancient caravan routes from China through India to central Asia of two monks, Fa Xian and Xuan Zang in the 4th and 7th century. The timeless wheel dominating the main entrance leads you to the way of this historic journey. The wooden floor outlines the two pilgrims’ routes on the Silk Road. The ceiling has dangling hundreds of strings of Chinese characters, which are blessings quoted from the Buddhist works by the two monks. Four pavilions enhance the cultural identity of India. Capacity Hall: 70-80 seats Private Dining: 12-18 seats
