Jun 15: Operation Turbo Dumpling

Back Alley are putting on night of music with free entry: Operation Turbo Dumpling. Enjoy jazz, ska, rock, hip-hop and folk (yes, all of those) for a night of good tunes and good fun. With all the different genres, there’s something for everyone.

Jun 16: Tianjin African Cultural Night

The General Union of African Students invites everyone to Martins Café for a night of cultural exchange. The event promises loads of delicious African food from the buffet, a fashion show and African dancing. This year’s theme is “Re-Imagining and Celebrating the Afro-Futuristic Tomorrow,” and there will be keynote speakers on the topic.

Jun 16-18: YinYang Music Festival 2018

YinYang festival fuses the love of music and nature together – RMB30 of every ticket purchase goes to the development of a new forest in Tianjin, on land obtained by the festival organizers. The lineup boasts 20 international artists among local Chinese acts. There will be plenty of food vendors, a camping site and even a silent disco. There's nothing like listening to some live music with a scenic backdrop of the Great Wall at sunset. You can even bring your own food and drinks, with the exception of glass bottles. Just remember not to litter!

Spanish Siesta Brunch

Rey de Gambas has a brand-new brunch deal. For just RMB150, you can get the tapas brunch set menu, plus tea and coffee, and bottomless cava. Enjoy three-and-a-half hours of bottomless booze. We’re pretty sure that this deal will force you to have a siesta afterwards though.

World Cup 2018 at Rey de Gambas
