The capital’s most hotly-anticipated craft beer fest, the 8x8 Brewing Festival, is almost upon us. And luckily it's just a quick jaunt from Tianjin! It will take place at the UCCA Pavilion in 798 District on November 3-4. The festival is the culmination of a project spearheaded by Jing-A, which will see brewers from the American-Canadian Pacific Northwest team up with Chinese brewers to make special-edition beers.
And to make one of you readers really happy, we're giving away an All-Sessions Pass (worth RMB988) to 8x8, which means you'll be able to attend the festival on Friday night and all day Saturday and sample every single beer on the list. Keep reading to find out how you can win.
All 16 breweries will come to Beijing for the 8x8 Beer Festival, where they'll celebrate the launch of the eight collaboration brews and share some their other favorite beers -- it's basically a beer lover's dream come true.
So how does it work?
There will be four three-hour sessions during the festival -- one on Friday and three on Saturday. Festival-goers can purchase tickets for one or more of the sessions.
You can sample as many brews as your heart desires during the session. There will be 40 beers to try at every session, including all eight collaboration brews, which were made especially for for 8x8.

There will also be plenty of food vendors onsite to soak up all that booze: Hatchery's Common Burger, Pak Pak, Susu, Palms L.A., Jing-A Brewing's BBQ and more.
DJ Jay 1,2 will provide the soundtrack to each session and keep the good times rolling and Needles n' Pins will be offering the following eight tattoo designs for free. Just email richard@jingabrewing.com to reserve a tattoo session. Be sure to mention which tattoo and which session you'll be attending. There will be two tattoos per session.
