To celebrate this milestone moment, Uzbek President Shavkat Mirziyoyev awarded the team a fleet of 42 brand-new BYD vehicles right after the game.

Among them were 28 BYD Song PLUS DM-i Champion Edition plug-in hybrid SUVs, and 14 BYD Chazor 05 sedans—all produced locally at BYD’s factory in Jizzakh, Uzbekistan.

The factory, a joint venture between BYD and Uzbekistan’s UzAuto, officially began operations in June 2024 and is set to produce up to 50,000 vehicles per year.
The post-match ceremony, with players posing proudly beside their made-in-Uzbekistan BYD cars, quickly became a trending moment across Chinese and Central Asian media, blending national pride, sports glory, and China’s leading electric vehicle brand into one unforgettable photo-op.
For BYD, the moment was more than a marketing win—it was a celebration of how far its global footprint has expanded, particularly in Central Asia.
As more countries shift toward green energy and electric mobility, BYD’s presence on the international stage—whether on roads or in stadiums—keeps accelerating.
This time, the road to the World Cup was paved with Chinese innovation on four wheels.
