We Tried 7-Eleven's Cool Fish Wine and You Should Too

'We Try It' is a regular series where we try the latest off-beat food and beverage offerings.

Having an open bottle of wine can sometimes be a hassle, especially if you can’t re-seal it (for those of you that buy wine with actual corks).

7-Eleven comes to the rescue with to-go wine glasses. Similar in taste to boxed wine (something we’re very well-versed in), this Cool Fish wine comes in generously poured glasses of red or white. It really takes the stress of choosing different types away by simplifying it to just which color we’d prefer. Boasting high alcohol percentages, these are ideal for those who are in a rush to catch up with their other wine-drunk pals.

Sure, the name may not be appealing, but there’s nothing too fishy here – just the taste of cheap church wine begging you to confess your sins before the last drop.
