March 22: Throwback Thursdays at Hemingway

Ever wanted to turn back time? Well now you can every Thursday at Hemingway! The party kicks off this week with the first edition of the ultimate #TBT (Throwback Thursday) party. Each Thursday, expect weekly rotating live DJs on the decks who will spinning the classics and special old-fashioned cocktails brought back for one night only by their bartenders. There will also be deals on drinks — from 20 percent off beers to 30 percent off mixed drinks — as well as #TBT surprises and presents. Hemingway's Thursdays with a twist will be your new favorite way to get ready for the weekend!

March 23: InterNations Suzhou March Event at Hyatt Regency Suzhou

InterNations Suzhou
InterNations Suzhou will hold the March edition of its monthly after-work event at the Hyatt Regency Suzhou's Tea House & Beer Garden on the ground floor, followed by an after party at Hemingway's. From 7.30 to 9.30pm, guests can enjoy delicious appetizers and snacks, as well as a free flow of selected drinks. The after party at Hemingway's is 10 percent off for InterNations members. March 23-24: Disco Neon Tube #2 & Metalepse at Deep Roll

Deep Roll
Deep Roll is holding several parties with lineups of local artists throughout the month of March to get your nightlife fix, including Disco Neon Tube on Friday and Metalapse on Saturday. Head over to Rong Creative Industrial Park on the weekends for deep house, rap, techno and other DJ acts.

To commemorate the 100th anniversary of Claude Debussy's death, the SZSO will be paying tribute to the French composer's work in an intimate setting. Refreshments will be served after the concert.

March 25: Hack Hanzi at Locke Pub

Hack Hanzi
Want to learn Chinese? Suzhou-based teacher Lydia Nordlien will be holding this month's final 'Hack Hanzi' workshop to help you get started or prepare for the HSK. The workshop will have plenty of interaction, exercises and other activities and entry fee includes drinks. Note that workshop attendees are required to have previously attended one of the Hack Hanzi crashcourses. Hack Hanzi is suitable for any language level, including beginners and advanced speakers.
