“Several years ago, when Interprocom Cantine Divine decided to take on this adventure, the decision to choose Italian wines as our main product was almost obvious since we Italians are proud to promote Italian heritage in a market as complex as the Chinese one,” says Alessandro Mugnano, CEO at Interprocom Cantine Divine.

“Today the company we founded and still represent has achieved remarkable goals in positioning itself at the top of the sector as the main actor and promoter of Italian wine in the Chinese market becoming a point of reference for many wine enthusiasts. Now it’s the time for us to explore the world of wine further and expand our sphere of influence beyond that of Italian wines.”

This news comes in the wake of many recent initiatives and accomplishments of the company.

On March 17th, 2023, Interprocom was recognized for the 5th consecutive year as ‘The Excellent Importer of Italian Wine in China’ at the 7th WineIta Annual Summit of Italian Wine held at the Italian Embassy in Beijing.

On March 29th, 2023, Interprocom joined forces with Clanse Global releasing a white paper on ‘The Consumption of Italian Wine in the Chinese Market’ exploring trends of the Chinese consumer market’s attitude to European food culture, and the relationship between food and wine.

On March 30th, 2023, Interprocom held a gala dinner at Mandarin Oriental, Shenzhen celebrating the company’s 10thanniversary of entering the Chinese market and announcing its ambitions for the next decade of growth in the country.

“If we look at the data of recent years with the sometimes violent declines in the market and the vacuum created by Australian wines, the market cake and its slices have remained roughly the same, certainly more in terms of quantity than quality, so our decision to expand our portfolio to include 10more countries was motivated by the deep desire of accelerating our company’s growth, which will be accompanied by investments in the marketing and HR sector, thus launching ourselves without delay in a new challenge to conquer the new market share”, says Alessandro.

The new list of 10 countries to enter Interprocom’s portfolio will include: 1. Argentina 2. Chile 3. France 4. Germany 5. Greece 6. New Zealand 7. Portugal 8. Spain 9. China 10. South Africa.

In addition to creating the new global wines portfolio, Interprocom has already announced 2 new exclusive partnerships with top Italian wineries Feudi di San Gregorio and Livio Felluga this year, giving a jump start to the fortification of its Italian wine list, which will continue to take place in the coming months.
