Don’t let the memories and wishes of travel fade away, allow your taste bud to go on their own journey. With the fully upgraded A-la-carte menu, Insider Chef from Mercado will be taking you on a world tour without having to leave Shenzhen.
Having started on April 25, signature sharing dishes and hot-sale gourmet’s recipes from Intercontinental Hotel’s Pipette Bistro, Coriander Indochine Restaurant and Alenha Brazilian Steak House were refreshed by the in-house chefs.
With creativity and new ideas, cuisines from the around the world including Europe, the Middle East, South-east Asia, South America and more are available in Mercado and ready to be servedto family and friends.
It seems only natural that a culinary world tour should start in Spain. Gather your friends and families to dig in to pintxos in all different forms, including homemade chorizo, bruschetta, tapenade with cheese, avocado tartine and more. Or sit back and enjoy a cold seafood platter with french oysters, sea urchin, red crab and selections of quality seafood with freshly squeezed lemon and fine caviar. 
Now we chart a course across the restaurant to pay a visit to the Middle East and Southeast Asia. The famous Mezze Platter with falafel, pitta bread and hummus is irresitable and so are the different selections of curry that go perfectly with a bowl of rice and spicy chili Thai crab.
Just make sure you save some room for dessert. As an iconic French dessert, soufflé is well-known to be fragile and difficult to make. It requires lots of patience and skill with from the pastry chef. A perfect soufflé is definitely worthy the wait as you will be blown away by the light and airy taste with a slight dusting of powdered sugar. The soufflé is served with vanilla ice cream to satisfy those with the sweetest sweet tooth.
