The Drip Lab Hype Continues, Second Location Opening This Week

Love it or hate it you have to admit, Drip Lab has added something unique to the Shenzhen scene. They’re known for their cocktails on tap, bunker-like decor, tattoo nights and close-knit ties to Mexican eatery, Mariachi Bowls. The Drip Lab team gave us a bit of insight into the new location, Drip Lab Express:

What’s special about the new location?
The new location is based on European underground clubs, with small but well-used space – we do not have tables there, the whole area is the dance floor. The space is completely soundproofed so we can party till late without disturbing our neighbors.

Will it be larger than the Futian location?
Drip Lab Express is about the same size as the Futian location, as that’s our signature design. We have two separate floors, one dedicated to food by Mariachi Bowls, and the second floor dedicated to the Drip Lab cocktails.

In addition, we do have a surprise for those who think that size matters – our next location will be four times bigger than the existing ones and will stay open till 6am every day!

What’s new on the menu for drinks and food?
Food and drinks are provided by FEM cocktail on tap (part of the Drip Lab brand) and food by Mariachi Bowls; as we are an experimental cocktail bar, we will update our specials on regular basis. Come and check it out!

There will be two opening parties: the first one on Friday, February 5 will be a Hip Hop/Afro Beats party by Black Baethoven, and on Saturday, February 6 there will be a Tech House session by DJs from GOR!

See listing for Drip Lab Express.
