Hot off the heels of Shanghai’s annoucement yesterday, the Guangdong Ministry of Education announced today that kindergartens and special education schools may return to class on June 2.

Schools that meet the conditions to return to school can arrange for staff to return to work before students in order to prepare for epidemic prevention and control.

As for summer, the ministry stated that summer holidays may be pushed back as a result of the delayed start of schools. However, summer vacation should start no later than August 1 for public primary and secondary schools.

Enjoy the sunny skies and get ready to settle back into the school routine!
