American rapper Azealia Banks announced via Instagram on Thursday, August 15 that she will be debuting her new album, Yung Rapunxel II on September 11 in Shenzhen. Banks indicated that the concert would be free in the caption of the blacked out post, and later confirmed when a fan asked how to get tickets. She responded, “Free entry. Just be 21+ and come to China.”

HotNewHipHop reported that “based on her Instagram posts of recent recording sessions, it appears the album was recorded in Russia, with producers Miyagi and Andy Panda.” The album was intially set to be released earlier in May of this year but was postponed twice. Banks plans to perform the new album in full at the Shenzhen show and it will also drop on streaming services the same night.

The controversial rapper was recently under fire in January for insensitive comments towards her Irish fans as reported by the BBC. In a now-deleted comment the rapper used the phrase “inbred leprechauns” and clapped back with “don’t you have a famine to go die in?” No stranger to controversy, some call her fearless, while others have recognized her penchant for inciting feuds with other stars such as Lana Del Rey, Iggy Azalea, Russell Crowe and even airline staff.
