According to the Meteorological Bureau of Shenzhen, as of 12pm on March 6, a storm is brewing in Guangdong province. So, if you haven’t already, it might be time to pull out the ol’ umbrella and dust off your crocs, because, simply put, it’s going to rain.
Multiple weather sites, including AccuWeather, are reporting at least two hours of rain daily until Sunday in Guangzhou, with the sun scheduled to make an appearance at some point on Monday. Temperatures in the city are expected to range from the mid-teens to the low 20s over the next few days, with temps at their lowest on Sunday when the mercury will dip to 13 degrees Celsius (that’s 55 degrees Fahrenheit in American English).

Earlier this week, on March 4, the National Meteorological Center issued a blue warning for rainfall in Guangdong. A blue warning indicates that over 50 milimeters of rain is expected to fall in a 12-hour period. Unfortunately, this is not enough rain to stop work in Guangzhou, a city known for its bouts of spring rainfall, but it is enough to make your commute to work a little more uncomfortable.
Down in Shenzhen, dreary, rainy weather is also forecasted to plague the city until Monday, when the sun should return. Like Guangzhou, temps are expected to range from the mid-teens to low 20s.
