Tue-Sun, Until Feb 20: Spring Comes from Wooden Paintings

Jointly held by Shenzhen Art Museum and Shanxi Folk Art Museum, this exhibition aims to display traditional wood paintings from Xinjiang County, Shanxi province. Painted on pearwood using special techniques, these art works cover a wide range of themes, including Chinese opera characters, mythological figures and Chinese New Year.

Tue, Jan 29: Tuesday Night Hiking at Nanshan Mountain

If you live in Shekou and are looking for some exercise, why not join this group of hikers as they climb Nanshan Mountain this Tuesday night? Located on the Nantou Peninsula, with a peak reaching 336 meters, the mountain provides a great view of Shenzhen by night. This event is also the perfect chance to get fit and meet some new friends.
