Revenge is a dish best served… monthly? In a bizarre story out of Foshan, two women were seen on surveillance footage last week inexplicably plastering a man’s BMW with sanitary pads in what appears to be a strange kind of retaliation for past wrongdoings.
Watch footage the incident below (VPN off):
According to the Daily Mirror, nearby witnesses suggested that one of the women, who enlisted her friend’s help in the prank, had previously been in a romantic relationship with the car’s owner.
Photos show the car casually parked on a local street side in the aftermath of the adhesive assault, still proudly sporting its new absorbent decals.
Believe it or not, this is not the first time spurned parties have taken to such tactics to convey their dissatisfaction with car owners. One case, documented by KanKan News last fall, involved a squad of Russian women similarly carpeting an expensive car in (presumably unused) feminine hygiene products, this time a Mercedes-Benz.
Chinese netizens were divided by the strange methods, some claiming that the strong adhesive would surely damage the automobile’s pricey paint job, while others were perplexed as to why anyone would buy and waste perfectly useful pads in such a meaningless way.
In any case, there are certainly more effective ways to mess up your ex-lover's car. Just saying...
