That's PRD takes a look at the best of the week in Shenzhen:
March 6: John Legend - Darkness and Light Tour
The American singer, songwriter, musician and actor – famous on his own, and for collabs with Kanye West, Alicia Keys, Jay-Z and many more – comes to town for his fifth album. Don't miss this supremely talented wordsmith, neo-soul singer and pianist as he shines in 'Darkness and Light.'
Mar 6, 8pm; RMB380-1,280. Shenzhen Bay Sports Center. See event listing. Tickets.
March 7-9: Pink Party for Three Days
Women in Shenzhen get special treatment at this three-day celebration. Each night Terrace is offering a special performance from TAS, along with drink specials and prizes for the best dressed. Not that they'd ever reduce a woman's value to her aesthetic appeal. It's a fun night to let fashion fly with a glass of Champagne in hand and your friends all around.
Mar 7-9. The Terrace Restaurant & Bar. See event listing.
March 8: Free BBQ & Drinks for Women on International Women's Day
George & Dragon British Pub organizes a special treat for International Women’s Day, serving their famous roast pig and delicious new side dishes. Gender equality demands equal pricing for all guests, but women can earn a free meal and drinks... if they get their husband/significant other to dance topless. Seems fair, right?
Mar 8, 6pm; RMB138. George & Dragon. See event listing.
March 9: h_w_a aka Elvis.T Modular Live
After years of bringing the beat to China and Europe (including SONAR in Barcelona) Elvis now performs live modular sets under the name 'h_w_a.' His nationwide tour celebrates the release of the new EP, Mod, which tracks his progress as he keeps trying to expand China's techno scene. He's supported by Lanx, Panda, Sam Lai and Mugi.
Mar 9, 10pm-5am; free entry. Oil Club. See event listing.
March 10: Lips McKenzie 'Rabid Dog' at Magma/Dolores Park
See local live music phenomenon Lips McKenzie perform down in Shekou. The band boasts international instrumentalists paired with a multilingual Chinese vocalist. It's part hip hop, part jam band and 100-percent fun.
Mar 10, 10pm; free entry. Dolores Park. See event listing.

Ongoing: Cirque du Soleil – KOOZA Show
In additional to the acrobatics we’d expect from Cirque performances, KOOZA brings back the slapstick clowning of the circus for a performance of high-energy humor. Journey with the Innocent and a panoply of comic characters like the King, the Trickster, the Obnoxious Tourist and his Bad Dog, in a big-top spectacle packed with thrills, chills and electrifying surprises. Despite a few frightening noises, the show is appropriate for the whole family

Ongoing: Premium Angus at Kempinski Hotel
Have your premium Australian Angus beef prepared just as you'd like it, with the Kempinski culinary team ready to match your tastes. Beyond a range of exquisite sides, enjoy treats like black truffle beef carpaccio, Ossobuco, veal cheek and so much more.
