July 27-29: 2nd Bao'an Industry Development Expo
Bao'an District is hosting its second 'Industry Development Expo' on the theme of 'intelligent manufacturing,' with exhibits and forums, and you're invited! July 28: DJ SNAVS at Dazzle Club
Hailing from Denmark, the award-winning DJ and producer SNAVS has an affinity for trap and dubstep. You can catch his act for free this Friday, as long as you arrive before 10.30pm.
July 28-29: China vs UK Snooker Competition
Wanna see an international snooker showdown right here in Shenzhen? Now's your chance, because the Snooker Star Challenge 2017 is holding its first-ever event in the city. July 29: Dancing for Birth Grand Opening at Splendid China
The organization Dancing for Birth are spreading the gospel of dancing as exercise for expecting mothers; its purported benefits include relieving stress and helping labor to start naturally. July 29: Sandy Rivera of Kings of Tomorrow at Pepper Club
From his Kings of Tomorrow phase to the current day, New Yorker Sandy Rivera has created a track record of influential house hits, including his 2000 single 'Finally' and the electronic disco-influenced song 'Come Into My Room.' House lovers won't want to miss his live act, coming up this Saturday.
July 29: DJs JSTJR, Anti-General, RCJIANG, Rozay at Dazzle Club
Why have just one DJ when you can have four? PILLZ Records is putting on quite a show with multiple members of its lineup performing this Saturday. What's more, it's all free – for ladies, at least. Guys will need to shell out RMB80 for cover.
July 29: Latin Dance Party at The Terrace
From 9-10pm this Saturday, pick up some new movies from salsa/bachata/merengue/kizomba instructor KaDar. Then, use your newfound skills to dance all night long to live music at The Terrace.
July 30: Secret Spot Pool Party at The Ritz-Carlton, Shenzhen
Hosted by Paletto Italian Restaurant and The Ritz-Carlton, Shenzhen, in collaboration with That’s PRD, this party will be hosted at a wonderful outdoor pool on the hotel's fifth floor. July 30: Learn About Chinese Tea Culture from a Master
Taste flavors from green tea to Oolong, and learn Chinese tea ceremony from an expert at this weekend morning class. Attendees can also get their picture taken in a traditional costume, enjoy a live guzheng performance and get a complimentary jar of red tea. After signing up via WeChat account 'cometochinacici,' meet up at Wenjin metro station, Exit A, at 9am Sunday to walk to the venue.
