July 4: Independence Day Party at The Brew
The Brew's Independence Day deals on BBQ and beer (RMB35 a pint!) last from opening til closing time, but the party really starts at 9.30pm, when the live music begins.

July 4: 4th of July All-you-can Eat & Drink BBQ Party
In honor of the US's Independence Day, enjoy Chill's signature dishes plus chicken wings, coleslaw, and potato salad. July 4: Dandy Lion 4th of July Rooftop Pool Party

July 6: 'Monstercat' Party with Slander, Conro, Grant
Featuring the DJ-producer duo Slander, masterminds behind the Soundcloud hit 'Love Again' (see above); Canadian DJ Conro, also scheduled to hit up Tomorrowland and EDC Las Vegas this year; and American DJ Grant, a big name in his hometown of Raleigh, NC; the 'Monstercat' party this Thursday night is sure to impress.

July 7: Muzikbox + First Fridays in Shekou
First Fridays film fests (say that five times fast) are back, with the addition of drum n' bass DJing from 10pm-2am. Besides getting to see short videos by local filmmakers, attendees can get their faces painted and try out super Nintendo games. Film screening starts at 9pm, so be there in time to grab a seat.

July 7: Aazar & Guest DJ Curtis at Club Sector
Paris native Aazar has collaborated with DJ Snake and released tracks on Diplo's label Mad Decent. He and rising Beijing-based DJ Curtis will be headlining this Friday night, supported by four other talented acts.

July 8: DJ Willy Monfret at Viva Club
You may recognize Willy Monfret from billboards and posters from an array of top fashion brands like Ralph Lauren, Hugo Boss and Calvin Klein, to name a few. Others may remember him as the lead male role in the music video for Nicki Minaj’s 'Right Thru Me.' It turns out Monfret is more than just a pretty face: he also DJs, spinning house music with touches of French, Caribbean and Latin flavors. Monfret is no stranger to the PRD; he even visited Guangzhou in 2013 and 2014 to DJ parties. This summer, he'll show off his skills in Shenzhen.

July 8: Masquerade Tango Party at Mr. Wong

July 8: MUST DIE! + Panta Q at Club Sector
21-year-old DJ MUST DIE! hails from Atlanta, Georgia, and produces music that makes listeners feel like they're 'lost in an 8-bit jungle with a high-grade fever while eating sour candy.' With releases on several labels already, his music seems to be as appealing as it is quirky.

July 8-9: Endless Summer Beach Party
This party features 13 international DJs, Western food and the Secret Spot venue in Xichong. Tickets include transportation, beach entry and one drink. Buses leave July 8 and will depart from Xichong Beach July 9.
