March 15: Shekou International School (SIS) Open Day
Shekou International School (SIS) invites the Shenzhen community to attend Open Day at its Bayside campus on March 15. As the first international school established in Shenzhen, SIS has a long tradition of providing a rigorous education in a caring environment. With nearly 850 students from 40 different countries, students are accepted to such leading universities as Cornell (Ivy League), Hong Kong University, Seoul National University, Bocconi and University of California at Berekeley among many others. March 15: Contact Improvisation Dance Workshop
Contact improvisation is a form of dance improvisation most characteristic of postmodern dance styles. Practiced by two or more people, it’s focused around keeping a physical point of contact while moving freely without music. Join the workshop and learn all about this enigmatic art.

March 16-19: Michelin Night at The Ritz-Carlton, Shenzhen
From March 16-19, Chef Stefano Nicodemo from Paletto at The Ritz-Carlton, Shenzhen welcomes Italian Chef Giuseppe Di Iorio (from the only Michelin-starred Aroma restaurant in Rome, Italy), who will introduce privileged guests to his trademark dishes.
For the very first time, Chef Giuseppe will take the culinary stage to Asia and wave his magic wand to bring another dream gourmet dining experience to life. Chef’s recommendations include: black cod, carrot flavor, lime gel and puffed rice and monk fish filled with scampi wrapped in ‘Nori’ seaweed with saffron potato cream. In addition to the standard Di Iorio menu, on 19 March, a special wine dinner will be held for wine connoisseurs, complete with a seven-course menu marrying a series of Grand Gru Wines.

March 19: Closing Night of the 2016 French Speaking Feast
Ok, if you're not a French speaker you might not have heard about it, but the French Speaking Feast (Fête de la Francophonie) is celebrated every year by 220 million people on five continents. In China, 19 cities are celebrating it this year!
Soirée Guinguette is the closing night of the 2016 French Speaking Feast in Shenzhen. A festive and popular French-style cabaret, Guinguette is a French tradition dating back to the 18th century.

March 19: Celebrate Spring at Oggi
Oggi Trattoria Pizzeria is glad to invite you to welcome the spring season with an Italian Apertif on March 19, from 5-10pm. Sponsored by Summergate, this event will offer guests free flow selected cocktails, a food buffet and a DJ performance.

March 19: Chili Cook-Off 2016
On March 19, come down to Coyote's for a tasty afternoon of zesty chili consumption. Hosting its first cook-off, this Mexican cantina invites you to come and sample the delicious chili varieties being offered-up by participating teams. RMB100 gets you entry to the event, drink vouchers, nacho chips and salsa, cornbread, a RMB50 voucher from Nogogo and a change to win prizes in the raffle! Oh, and you get to eat a pile of chili! According to event organizers, 20 percent of proceeds are being donated to charity.
