Registration Open For Shenzhen's Women's Marathon

Registration for Shenzhen’s 2016 China Women’s Marathon has opened online at women.x-marathon.com. The race will be held on April 9 in Luohu District. 

The registration website, which went live at 10am on International Women’s Day, is offering 4,000 places – 500 spots each for the full and half marathons and 3,000 for the 5.5 kilometer run.

The entrance free for the half-length and full-length marathons is RMB280, while the fee for the 5.5 kilometer run is RMB200, according to Shenzhen Daily. Marathon organizers have stated that a quarter of the funds raised via the entrance fees will be donated to the Shenzhen Women and Children Development Foundation.
