Jazz likes a free-flowing river, and no other genre of music can match it. In its 100-year history, as the continuous migration of people and the in-depth integration of humanities, jazz has become the most vital mobile symbol in music culture. But its integration towards the world has never stopped.
When jazz entered China, how did it really take root and popularize and localize it? Under the completely different bases of traditional Chinese musical instruments and Western musical instruments, how can they find their own style? The answers to all these questions have been explored and searched for by generations of Chinese jazz musicians. The main line of the story of the second season of Plan R, we will explore how Chinese musicians integrate traditional native instruments into jazz after jazz enter China along the way. The guest band of the first phase of Oriental Guest is the SEESAW Jazz Fusion led by Chinese keyboard musician Feng Wei.
