Its 11th century Persia. The Islamic world is being swept away by neoplatonic philosophy, and a philosopher - Al-Ghazali - publishes his seminal work: “The Incoherence of Philosophers”. It transforms the world he is a part of but is rife for attack. A refutation of his work (a Raad), “The Incoherence of Incoherence” was published by Spanish philosopher Ibn Rushd (Averroes) and debate on both these works continues.
