International Shenzhen Artist Forum or ISZAF is a grassroots, foreign- and local-artist-run artist society based in Shenzhen, China. Founded in October 2016 by a group of visual arts professionals and friends, the organization hopes to connect visual arts professionals of all backgrounds, styles and disciplines within the Pearl River Delta Region of China. ISZAF desires to establish a community of visual artists that can network with fellow peers, find more ways to engage the community through sponsored artist events and promote healthy economic growth of artists through local galleries and show.
The ‘ISZAF First Show” is a collection of work from a few of our group's members. This showcases 12 artists who represent over 8 nationalities and different styles of visual art. It is ISZAF’s goal and desire to connect visual artists of all backgrounds, styles and disciplines into one network and community in hopes to strengthen creative development in South China. This show is the beginning of what ISZAF hopes as an organized body will be the first of many collaborative shows to come.
