The China Shakespeare Company was started in Shenzhen, in January, 2017, by Artistic Director William Mann.
William Mann was Artistic Director of the Chamber Shakespeare Company (2002-2008). He directed and acted in hundreds of performances of Hamlet, Macbeth, Othello, King Lear, Richard II, Romeo and Juliet, Julius Caesar, Oedipus, Faustus, Endgame (among others) in Norway, Ireland, Scotland, England, Italy and France.
