The wine choices here are extensive, and luckily we had a knowledgeable staff member on hand to assist us, and with several bottles of wine being imbibed, everyone was in good spirits. We sampled 6 dishes of food, with some dishes being familiar and some not. The ‘confit de canard’ being the star dish, it was so tender and juicy. The ‘carbonate flamonde’ and octopus dishes also deserve a mention. The olive dish divided opinion.
The food was great, especially the sauces on some of the dishes, one table even asked for bread to soak up the sauce. However overall, the portions were on the small side and the presentation on one of the main dishes wasn’t what was expected.
