Indulge in a one-of-a-kind six-course meal in the name of cancer researh, as Chefs in the City takes over the Grand Kempinski Hotel on January 15. Some of the best Italian chefs in the city (Ricacardo Messina of Acqua e Farina Shanghai, Marco Barbieri of Da Marco, Corrado Michelazzo of 10 Corso Como Shanghai, Giuseppe Tino of Gaia 2 Shanghai, Marco Busatti of Isola Shanghai and David Bassan) come together to highlight the best of their home country’s cuisine with the finest globally sourced ingredients. It’s all in the name for ‘Hand in Hand’ Cancer Reovery Centre, and you can see photos from the last edition here.
The night starts at 7pm with tantalizing appetizers served with Prosecco, signature Chefs in the City Lucano Cocktails and hand-crafted Illy “coffee cocktails.” Dinner starts at eight with sumptuous dishes paired with exquisite wine under the guidance of expert sommeliers. Italian singer Antonio Voria will serenade the crowd and there will be a lucky draw and a silent auction. It’s RMB888 with only 40 seats available for the dinner.
There will also be an after-party starting at 10.30pm to celebrate the end of the second edition of Chefs in the City. Tickets are RMB150 and includes two drinks and canapés.
