Juicy Burger Festival @ Laowaijie

Shanghai Juicy Burger Festival is coming! Fifteen of Shanghai’s finest burger slingers in one place at one time from September 22 to 24 at Laowaijie.

Foodies will find a mix of Shanghai's tried-and-true burger places with a proven pedigree; some newbies you may have never heard of; some far-out burger concoctions; and even a couple of vendors jetting in from out of town just to tantalize your tastebuds.

The current line-up includes Char Char Bistro, Charlie’s, Chili’s, NYC Deli, Burger 66, Eggsoul, GK Gordon’s Kitchen, GULOOO BURGER, Latina, Yugo Grill, Tacolicious, TacoTaco, The Hai, LaiFuFu Burger (from Wuxi) and wopwop (from Jiaxin).

A Simple Space @ 1862 Theater

A Simple Space is the first work of Gravity & Other Myth. A performance simultaneously raw, frantic and delicate, it has already attracted a massive fans base, having performed close to 1,000 times across 34 countries, achieving huge international success, and receiving multiple awards.

It’s blend of drama, dance and acrobatics has seen it described as a "gritty Cirque du Soleil" and "the most amazing work of the Edinburgh Festival."

Seven acrobats push themselves to their physical limits, without reserve, supported by driving live percussion and presented so intimately that you can feel the heat, hear every breath, and be immersed in every moment.

The flexibility of the body, the determination of inner peace, the calmness of high altitude jumping, the softness and beauty, the thrill and danger – all are on display in the trust and cooperation of the actors.

It’s been 23 years since the Shanghai Yangtze Hotel Co. began hosting its first Oktoberfest in 1998, and the event is still going strong.

This year, Oktoberfest is set to take place from September 19-23 at The Radisson Collection Hotel, Yangtze Shanghai.

Get excited to be immersed in Bavarian traditions through a host of German beers, delicacies, live music by The Beer Kings, games, lucky draws, and more. Prost!

Staying true to the original spirit of Oktoberfest, The Radisson Collection Hotel, Yangtze Shanghai is partnering with Paulaner – Oktoberfest’s official beer partner – to create a not-to-be-missed German feast, all hosted in a nearly 900-meter beer tent.

La Baracca on Yongkang Lu is welcoming contemporary pan-Asian brand ¥uzu for a kitchen takeover beginning September 11.

Look forward to getting your hands on ramen burgers, salmon tacos, Korean fried chicken and ¥uzu cheesecake, among other fusion bites.

¥uzu will also be in charge of the bar, providing an array of unique cocktails such as the Sakura flower spritz, ¥uzu southside, and spicy ¥uzu margarita.
